The locking system is great for younger kids learning to scoot, as it provides extra stability with the scooter always heading in the same direction, while they figure out pushing, standing and braking with the scooter.

The height adjustment on this means that even a light teenager could comfortably use this unless they were 6′ tall or more than the 50kg limit.
